Gary Schneider is responsible for the Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory relationships for the North America Public Sector Business. He develops innovative solutions across Federal, State and Local, Higher Education and Canadian clients. In this role, Gary drives revenue performance and client satisfaction in the delivery of all of Citi’s Corporate and Investment Banking products to these segments. He is also the Global Lead for Citi’s Transaction Banking Product Innovation across the Public Sector Group.

Gary is actively involved in supporting military veterans. He provides senior guidance to the US Army War College and volunteers his time at the Fisher House supporting service members and their families. During his career with Citi, Gary has worked extensively with Public Sector clients. He was the Head of the North America Public Sector State and Local coverage team. He served as the Global Business Manager for Citi’s receivables products for corporate, institutional and public sector clients, a $1.3 billion business. Earlier in his career, Gary was the Global Head of Citi ‘s Commercial Cards business where he led the roll-out of Citi’s commercial card products to 40 countries, making Citi the leading global issuer of commercial cards. Gary earned a BA in International Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an
MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He has served on the Board of Directors of NACHA and holds Series 79, 63 and 24 licenses.
